Sherburne, we are dedicated to providing copper and copper alloys with
the chemistries and physical properties that are ideal for use in a select
group of application areas. If your process involves applications in the areas of wire and cable production, cold heading, or electroplating... or the fabrication of bimetallic strip or welding wire, you will find that we offer valuable application experience and a diverse selection of quality products. Our coppers are used in high-volume as well as high-precision fabrication processes that yield a diverse range of end-user products. We offer standard rod, wire, strip, and anode products in over a dozen CDA chemistries furnished in all commonly used packaging options. High-purity oxygen free rod is a strong area of our operation, produced from virgin copper cathode in one of the largest Outokumpu upcast caster installations anywhere. Sherburne also offers the technical services, laboratory facilities and flexible plant environment that lets us assist you with customized product properties to meet special fabrication requirements. All of our rod is internally cast in state-of-the-art facilities that afford us excellent control over the chemical purity and surface characteristics of our OF and alloy products. Our plant is also equipped for quality annealing and all mechanical processes-- rolling, wire drawing, and shaving. |
