is a diversified supplier of copper alloy rod to a variety of cold heading
producers. Our product program is designed to meet the often complex specifications of chemical and physical properties that are important to cold heading processes yielding products ranging from electrical components and plumbing accessories to bronze bolts and automotive parts. Over the years, we have gained thorough experience in the automotive, plumbing, fastener, and other industries. We offer about half a dozen standard bronze chemistries, all of them provided as continuous cast rod in diameters up to 1 inch in diameter. Internally processed shaved, drawn, or rolled product is also available. Packaging is typically in the form of standard pallets, stems, and reels that accommodate most cold heading operations, but individual requirements can also be addressed. For cold heading applications, chemical and physical properties of the copper source materials often must be closely tailored to individual processes. We are very accustomed to collaborating with customers on achieving ideal solutions that reflect the most appropriate choices with regard to chemistry and size as well as temper, surface finish, grain structure, and other considerations. |
