the years, Sherburne has demonstrated exceptional expertise and flexibility
in the development, manufacture, and application of standard and custom
products in a range of customer applications, particularly in the areas
of oxygen free (OF) copper and copper alloy chemistries. We produce more than a dozen standard CDA chemistries in rod, wire, and anode forms and in a variety of sizes. And our products are available in all the commonly used pack-aging options. Our current plant capability is designed for an annual production of approximately 80 million pounds of copper and copper alloy product. We use the latest continuous cast technology available, ensuring quality and flexibility as well as volume in our OF and copper bronze production. The casting section is augmented by the full range of in-house processing facilities, including annealing, wire drawing, and rolling. A modern laboratory provides continuous quality assurance testing and in-house ASTM certification of product quality. Sherburne produces a variety of copper anodes used in plating operations ranging from electronics to decorative hardware, jewelry, and automotive. In the areas of cold heading and wire and cable production, our rod and wire products are deployed with great flexibility in a range of applications. |
